Select an Issue
The GitHub site for each of the packages include tasks that need to be completed.
Issues: These tasks are are listed on the “Issues” page of each GitHub site.
Milestone Issues: From the “Issues” page, you can click the “Milestones” link on the top right, where you can review the Issues that have been slated for the next release of the package. Please only choose of these tasks if you are confident you can complete it well in advance of the milestone due date.
Labeled Issues: Some issues have been labeled with “Good for beginners” or “Good first issue” tags. If you are newer to R package development, these issues are a good place to begin.
Statistical Methods: Review your TLG catalog for statistical methods that are used and compare to the statistical methods implemented in {cardx}, and add methods that have yet to be added. Please post a GitHub issue before beginning work, to ensure it fits within the scope of the {cardx} package.
Once you select an issue, please comment on the issue stating that you will work on it. We cannot officially assign it to you on GitHub until you’ve become a formal contributor to the project (which we hope you do become!).
You may find that some issues contain little detail. Please feel free to ask for more details! Some issues are vague ideas of something we could implement, but have not yet thought through how it would be implemented.
